New Pastors In The Community To Serve with Local Churches in the Area

We are the Helsel family. We are new pastors in the area, Rick and Heidi. Together we have approximately 45 years of experience serving Methodist churches. Heidi currently serves White Chapel at Indian Run. My eldest daughter Sarah (in the purple sweatshirt) is working on her Ph.D. in microbiology at Pitt. My younger daughter, Christina, currently lives with us in Eau Claire and is searching for employment. I serve Boyers, Eau Claire and Hillards Global Methodist churches as well as a fourth church, Trinity Community, in Harrisville.
Heidi and I felt called to serve these communities when presented the opportunity over six months ago. We have seen God’s guiding hand on us though this journey, feeling that the Lord led us here for a distinct purpose to grow these churches and communities spiritually.
Heid and I are both Elders, having attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, and later, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary as second career ministers. Heidi was a Chemist, and I served in industry as a manger/Human Resource assistant.
We are looking to meet and know these communities over time, hopefully to serve you for years to come.
