Major Nor'easter Developing Off the Mid-Atlantic Coast - What The Progress News Residence Need to Know

At 9:15 PM, Friday, February 20, 2026, the ice jam on the Allegheny River at Emlenton broke and rapidly moved downstream through Foxburg and Parker. Additional ice from up river was flowing through Emlenton from as well. This movement was accompanied by a rapid drop and gradual rise of water levels on the river.
